Sophia's Travelling Bag
The Travelling Bag
Our mini Claudie bag is back from it’s travels and adorned with quotes and mantras from the inspirational women that took part. Be in with a chance to win this outstounding prize by entering the prize draw!
Beginning today, in celebration of International Women’s Day, Sophia’s Travelling Bag is available to win via a prize draw through Givergy.com, with all proceeds going to Womankind Worldwide – an international charity and neighbour to the Sophia Webster studio in East London.
You are invited to enter the prize draw by donating £5 online, or for free by post, to the initiative, with a winner chosen at random to receive the bag, all of the personalised charms as well as souvenirs.
Sophia’s Travelling Bag launched on International Women’s Day 2016, and the bag’s journey is just now coming to an end. For this exciting campaign, Sophia invited inspiring women from all over the world to join by taking the brand’s ‘Claudie’ bag to their city or a location personal to them, captured with a photo in front of their chosen landmark. Each participant has also personalised one of Sophia’s signature ‘Speech Bubble’ Charms with an uplifting mantra or personal quote. These charms of wisdom are attached to the ‘Claudie’ bag, and a souvenir, unique to each participant and their location, is also included inside of the bag.
The Claudie bag has been all over the map, from New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Canada, Germany, Greece, Australia and London, to Dubai, Singapore, Tokyo, Milan, Cuba, Sao Paulo, Shanghai, India, Nigeria, Kenya and Maldives.
Participants have included a broad mix of editors, actresses, stylists, designers, digital influencers, television personalities, photographers, musicians, dancers, art gallery owners and businesswomen.
Upon completion of the bag’s journey on 31st March, a winner for the prize draw will be chosen at random to receive the bag, all of the charms as well as souvenirs from each participant.
This initiative is really important to me, and I’m so excited to launch it for International Women’s Day this year. I chose Womankind Worldwide to be my partner for this project because their fight for women’s rights and international development is truly inspiring, and a cause I am incredibly passionate about. I also couldn’t be more delighted to have such an incredible roster of women supporting this campaign.
